From 101 Freeway get off at the Paso Robles-24th Street/46 East exit. Continue west on 24th Street through town past Spring Street for 1.5 miles until you reach Adelaida Road. Turn left onto Adelaida Road from 24th Street/Nacimiento Lake Drive. Follow Adelaida Road for 4.4 miles until you reach Hidden Mountain Road. You will see the big Thunderbolt Winery sign at the entrance on the left. Drive 1/2 mile until you reach the top of the ridge and see the pile of barrels. From this gorgeous view spot, proceed down the hill, past the vineyard and the winery, to the yellow and red tasting room.
